Prizren, which I visited 3 years ago, is a very good example of this. With the changing architecture in the rings formed around the old city core, it is possible to read the history of the city and the change in the understanding of construction from past to present. In the photo taken from the upper part of Prizren city center, the historical core is seen, but more recent settlements are seen towards the upper part of the picture. In the lower parts of the picture, it is seen that historical monumental buildings and examples of civil architecture were made with piled stone and wood. On the other hand, it is seen that architecturally similar but brick and reinforced concrete additions were made in order to make the old buildings healthy in the conservation area. Finally, in the extreme parts of the picture, the developing areas of multi-storey buildings consisting entirely of reinforced concrete with a completely changed architectural structure and buildings with features that appear all over the world in the globalized construction concept.
