The photo that I took is of Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore. Jewel Changi Airport is a big project that I think is a part of a globalized economy in building construction. The Jewel Changi Airport uses lots of steel and glass. The steel facade was fabricated and erected by Yongnam Holdings Limited, which produces steel in Singapore and Nusajaya, Johor, Malaysia. So, we can say that the steel was made in Singapore and Malaysia, and there are also other materials for this airport that I believe have to be imported from another country, making it a globalized activity than a localized activity.
