1. In Venezuela, the dominant fossil fuels used were Oil (33.31 Mtoe) and Natural gas (20.90 Mtoe). 2. These dominant fossil fuels were mainly used in Transport and Industry. 3. Knowing that in Venezuela the highest energy consumption is destined to automotive transport (where the use of private vehicles predominates over the use of public transport), a new policy would be to ask private companies with a minimum workforce of 30 employees to use buses private companies as a means of transportation for their employees. This with the aim of encouraging people to reduce the economic expense represented by the use and maintenance of private vehicles. As a benefit, there would be a decrease in the consumption of fossil fuel in the transportation sector for the country, through the reduction of vehicles in daily circulation. On the other hand, it would help to control city traffic and the amount of polluting gases emitted by motor vehicles.
