This picture is taken from the new constructed tower at Aligarh by the government of India. The most commonly used material for the design of the building included cement, reinforcement(steel), wood, glass and metals. The cement was manufactured in India and JK cement was used for the design of building. Steel was also manufactured in India and was obtained from the TATA steel company. Wood was collected from different parts of India and some wood which was used for decoration purpose was imported from Australia also. The metals were collected from different regions of India and also imported from European countries. This picture clearly demonstrate the involvement of globalized economy in building construction. As discussed above, global material was used for the design of this building, the government didn't look for local materials and the use of local workers was also stopped. Skilled labor was brought from different parts of the country to make the tower of high quality.
