1. Livability : As livability refers to a relative term with no universally agreed definition, I will state that a city where people like to live and can afford it is livable city as of my opinion. It can be measured by the sum of factors that add up to that community's quality of life according to that individual or group. 2. Ranking of factors in my view : Environment, health, Opportunity, Transportation, Housing, Neighborhood, Engagement. 3. As I was from India, I was selecting states to compare as of my choice which were : San Fransisco, New York & Washington DC. 4. Customized the scores by changing parameters as per my preference. 5. The image showing comparison of scores on livability was attached here. (Also here : https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/1597007422986612758172.png) 6. I placed Environment as the important factor and customized the parameters according to my preferences stated above. The results shows a increase of overall score in case of San Francisco but decrease of overall scores in both New York and Washington DC. So, San Francisco was falling behind and New York & Washington DC were already way ahead as per my parameter preferences.
