Hi! My name is Laura Martínez and I am from Caracas, Venezuela. My Top 5 that I think defines the "Livability of a City" according to my preferences is the following: 1. Security 2. Economy 3. Public transport 4. Recreation possibilities 5. Job opportunities The main reasons why I live in Caracas are the following: 1. It is my native country, where I have my friends and family. 2. I have the opportunity to be well educated and affordable. 3. I like its urban landscape, its mountains, birds and tropical climate. Unfortunately, I cannot name more reasons. If I measured the "livability" of my city according to the criteria that I select from the rankings, I would give it a score of 25, since the only criterion in which it is sufficient would be in the possibilities of recreation and moderately in the transport system. My first step would be to define a shared objective vision for the city with the collaboration of stakeholders. An effective government. If I had the opportunity to move, I would live in Miami (for culture, climate and job opportunities), Rome (for cultural attractions, mobility, education) and in Barcelona (language, job opportunities, culture).
