My proposal is to create an app which would allow the council to monitor where the problem with car parking exists. It's not about citizens reporting car drivers to the police, but rather about giving the council a tool to register and monitor the streets and areas where the problem occurs the most. In many residential areas the cars are forced to stop partly on a pavement, but are not able to leave enough space for passing pedestrians. These problems are sometimes easily solved by little redesign to public space. The app would allow the council to register and review all of the submissions from the citizens, noting as the areas where the reports are most frequent.
