In my opinion the most livable cities are, Vienna (Austria), Melbourne(Australia), Tokyo(Japan), Wellington(New Zealand) and Barcelona(Spain) • A livable city is a city where people of all age groups could lead a safe, socially connected life and where everyone is accessible to opportunities despite their gender. • A livable city is environmental friendly, sustainable and resilient. • A livable city provides affordable housing, transportation, health care and educational infrastructures. • A livable city guarantees fresh air and clean water to its inhabitants. It provides aesthetic joy to its residents. My city is less livable when compared to the characteristics given above. The roads infrastructure is not the finest. Solid wastes are dumped on road sides and drainage. Due to enormous number of cars on road creates traffic congestion as well as noise pollution. The city is also prone to annual floods due to heavy rainfall. The green open spaces in the city have to be improved and should be made accessible for everyone. At the same time my city is blessed with so many greens and mountains which increases the aesthetic view of the city.
