1. Which are your top livability criteria? 1-Safety 2-Job Opportunities 3-Transportation 4-Environment 5-Recreation Possibilities 2. Why do we live where we live? I live in the city of La Victoria in Venezuela, I live with my parents. Job opportunities and facilities to acquire a house in this country are really low, so most of the young people have to stay with their parents, that's the main reason why I live here, if I were to choose the positive aspects of living here they would be: 1-Living in the center of the city where everything is near 2-Acces to transportation in a fast way, the waiting time for a bus to arrive is not long 3-Most of my family lives here 4-Low pollution 5-Landscape 3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? On a scale from 1-100 I would give my place of residence 10 points since it doesn't fit my top 5 livability creiteria, specially the safety one since I live in a very dangerous city and country and I think that has a great negative impact on how people live their normal lives, a dangerous environment can stop people from doing their daily activities in a free and normal way. For the city i would also give it a 10 since it doesn't fulfill most of the livability criteria studied in this course, the only positive aspect i see is that the time for waiting a bus to travel inside the city is little. 4. What would you change? The first measure I would take is to eradicate crimes, training more police officers and putting them out in the streets, also tracking down criminals, a safer environment can also be achieved by creating more safe streets, putting more lighting specially at night and activating more night activities. 5. Why do we move? Australia, Japan, Canada 1-Safety 2-Culture 3-Infraestructure 4-Transportation 5-Recreation Possibilities
