Step 1: Most liveable cities for me are Copenhagen, Vienna, Toronto, Prague and Montreal. The photo is of a street in Copenhague that I took during the Christmas holidays. Step 2: Mobility is important (how walkable is the city and how easy it is to move around, can I use various modes of transport besides a car are blocks short?). The second would be access to food (how is easy is it to get good, nutritious food). Thirdly, access to parks and nature (can I exercise safely in the city). Number four is how safe is it to live in the city (low crime rates) and finally, city life (not too crowded, is waste well managed? is is too hot or too cold?) Step 3: My city definitely needs to introduce more bike lanes and make it safer for people to move around without a car. There is luckily access to nutritious cheap food and natural areas to exercise in. Crime is high so as a whole we need more education and more availability of jobs. Finally, we have decent temperatures (I live in Quito in the highlands, so nice weather) and city life is also pretty upbeat.
