There is already a platform where people could map eatable plants in the city (see picture). To enable urban gardening projects, this platform could be used as input from the crowd to find appropriate spots (enough space and enough people who would like to care) for an collaborative urban garden. A new category to be mapped could be introduced therefore (something like: potential urban garden spot). Collecting this insights from the crowd, could be used as valuable info for city planning or private projects to enable urban gardening.
