Top 5 most livable cities based on my personal experience are: 1. Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China 2. Xiamen, Fujian Province, China 3. Toronto, Ontario, Canada 4. Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China 5. Tokyo, Japan I have truly been to these cities in my past experience. It is a combination of modern urban city and traditional Chinese culture. The urbanization creates a fast living style, but the Chinese traditional culture remains calm. When people are tired of constant working, they have the chance to find a "tea house" or a pavilion to rest. The city of Chengdu is a highly commercialized city, and it is also a popular tourist destination. It is the origin of giant pandas. It has the largest zoo consist of only pandas. Unlike Shanghai, as a popular city, Chengdu doesn't despise people from outside of the city. Compare with Beijing, Chengdu also has a premium air quality due to its geographic location and great governance. Chengdu's GDP ranked at 8th among all Chinese cities in the year 2019.
