This photo was taken by me, it is the house of the slaughterhouse in Quito. This place is the main source of food in the city, almost 1000 animals are processed every week, of course there are stocks and flows here, for example liquid waste is expelled after it is "cleaned" and solid waste is collected and transport to use in agriculture and others. Around this place there are some butchers who attract other businesses and this translates to more people here.
