1)Top livability criteria 1. Housing 2. Economy 3. Infrastructure 4. Political Stability 5. Culture 2) Caracas: 1. It’s where my family is from, where I have my house and affections. 2. It’s where I study. 3. I have a comfortable house and private transportation. 4. The natural environment makes it beautiful. 5. It has a very agreeable tropical climate. 3) Scale 1-100: Place of residence: 50/100. Caracas: 20/100. 4) My place of residence, Caracas, has so many flaws that improving its livability represents a monumental task. I think it is a structural problem that concerns all dimensions: economic, political, social, environmental… But definitely the first measures should be around the maintenance of infrastructure (basic services, public transportation, etc.) 5) Europe: France, Belgium, Spain. 1. They have better living standards in relation to my current place of residence. 2. I speak the language. 3. I can find better job opportunities. 4. Their economies are more stable in relation to my current place of residence. 5. They’re attractive in terms of cultural offer, mobility, etc.
