1) There is currently an integrated transport strategy program under way in my home city of Kamnik. The program is tightly connected with citizens who are invited to actively participate in open discussions. 2) This is a big problem in every city. Such program can be started quite easily as a public program that is supported by the mayor of the city. A large step forward is set simply by illuminating the troubled hotspots. But this is only a temporary solution to a much larger problem that is dividing the community. 3) Citizens should be considered as consultants and not as workers or they will not participate. They know the city and that makes them valuable assets that should be respected with equal respect than the professionals that should also collaborate on such projects.
