2.The main UHI effects in my area i.e. Pune city are -Rapid Urban growth -Reduction in vegetation -High rise, high density construction -Global warming. 3.Measures I would propose -Proper urban rural connectivity -Rurban areas -Low rise, low density construction -Less consumption of carbon footprint -Environment conservation -Tree plantation. 4.I am unaware of any such policy proposed in my area.
