This shot is taken in the Beach of La Concha. It is a beach in a natural bay that is perfect for swimming. A lot of effort is made to keep it clean and accesible for the tourists. The city was innovative shaping its strategy towards tourism with the arrival of the spanish royalty in the XIX century, but now it is becoming a thematic park of itself. I think the city should use its success on tourism to promote other local assets and diversify the future strategy. The high housing prices are a problem for local people that want to remain living where we were born.
