The example was the design of AMARAVATI, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, India in 2017. Many reputed companies involved in the development of Amaravati corresponding to different phases of the project. The impact of our discussed infrastructures played an key role in the design of Amaravati. I am mentioning the impact of transportation in the design of Amaravati with the figures based on the combined report of University of east Angelia, Mott McDonald, CEEW on Amaravati. Transportation :A key aim of transportation planning is to facilitate mobility of people and goods, with the aim of providing access to employment, education, health, and recreation. Key aspects include, 1. Major arterial roads: 60m ROW with 8-lane configuration and 52 km 2. Arterial roads: 50m ROW with 6-lane configuration and 91 km 3. Seed access roads: 60m ROW with 4-lane configuration and 18m mass transport corridor in median and 19 km 4. Sub-arterial roads: 50m ROW with 4-lane configuration and 18m mass transport corridor in median and 5. Collector roads: 25m ROW with 4-lane divided configuration and 277 km Also focussed on a Parking policy b Street design guidelines c Non-motorised transport policy d Transit Oriented Development plan with guidelines e Information technology
