I am currently in Tripoli, Libya Unfortunately I am unable to provide a picture of the heart of the city due to public pandemic measures, and I am also not sure of how to attach two pics so I'm not able to provide the second pic of a rural setting in Tripoli. The picture I have attached is a street in Serraj, a suburb of Tripoli. Tripoli in general is very different from both European and North American cities on the one hand, and African cities on the other. Due to many historical factors, this uniqueness has persisted for decades. To me, this offers the tantalizing possibility to create a very unique city, keeping in mind what we have learned from this course, and though this is certainly not the goal for the government or municipality currently
