PORTABLE CITY TO BUILD AMONG ALL MORE LIVABLE AND SUSTAINABLE TERRITORIES Portable city is a social device designed by the community itself, the students and a group of professionals motivated and concerned with the environmental, political, economic and development challenges facing the city of Neiva in Colombia, seeking and having the purpose of contributing to improvement of the living conditions of Neivana society and the social problems that plague us today. We design a prototype, an architectural artifact as a strategy to build a truly livable and sustainable [City Plan] under participatory design methodologies. A city project that can be elaborated by the community, from the community. PORTABLE CITY works as a briefcase of classes, the briefcase contains all the necessary elements for a student to go to school, learn and then put this learning into practice in his professional life. In the same way this is how PORTABLE CITY works, it is a container of city concepts, built with recycled materials, a trailer of 2.5mx 7.0m (17.5 m2) projected to be able to mutate, transform and become an element that can occupy an area up to 105 m2, in which ordinary people can interact.
