PORTABLE CITY TO BUILD AMONG ALL MORE LIVABLE AND SUSTAINABLE TERRITORIES Portable city is a social device designed by the community itself, the students and a group of professionals motivated and concerned with the environmental, political, economic and development challenges facing the city of Neiva in Colombia, seeking and having the purpose of contributing to improvement of the living conditions of Neivana society and the social problems that plague us today. We design a prototype, an architectural artifact as a strategy to build a truly livable and sustainable [City Plan] under participatory design methodologies. A city project that can be elaborated by the community, from the community. PORTABLE CITY, is a container of city concepts, built with recycled materials, a 2.5mx 7.0m (17.5 m2) trailer designed to be able to mutate, transform and become an element that can occupy an area of up to 105 m2, in which ordinary people can relate, learn and interact with the basic concepts that make up a livable and sustainable city, from it understand how these cities work, what they really are, their advantages and disadvantages and how to become a of them.
