Internet Temperature Data @ weatherspark.com ( we are currently on General Community Quarantine here, so I was not able to go out today) 4.Location A: 91 degrees F Location B: 89 degrees F the temperature difference is: 2 degrees F 5. a. the rainy season have a cooling effect on the weather, the strong winds brought by monsoons also helps the city cools down. b. in Location A: the area is a Commercial Area that is why it is sorrounded by tall buildings and concrete pavements and roads. There is very little vegetation to cool down the area. The narrow street canyon add to UHI. in Location B: lots of open spaces covered with grass and other vegetation, the area are mostly farmlands and someare resorts, very few houses and concrete roads. The area is cooler and the air have better quality. 6.Years ago the Mayor of our city initiated adding plants on big pots along the main roads of the city center, there is a person that maintains the plants.The Governor rehabilitated the Perez Park.
