Note Picute is from the Internet Interesting to see that UHI can make such a huge temperature difference of city vrs rural. In Baguio is mostly the Surface Urban Heat Island that influence heat. The streets are relatively wide therefore high solar and thermal radiation which is due to lack of street greens. I would initiate more street greening, less parking spots for more green micro spaces. Also would make streets less for cars and more for bikes and pedestrians. In Baguio they trying hard and have good policies and initiatives, for example now a program to make less private cars and more public transportations.
