Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center Foundation's design and construction has sagnificantly contributed to the revitalization of Athens Kallithea neighbourhood and the Faliro Delta waterfront area after years of neglect. In the picture below which i have downloaded from the internet,we can realize that the globalized economy has greatly contributed to the SNFCC construction. Firstly this Foundation's architect is Italian. The shelter is the largest ferrocement construction in the world. Ferrocement comes from France and the Netherlands. The "mast" which is 40m above the shelter, consists of glass fiber,and reinforced polymer which is manufactured in China. We can also see, the 24m glass curtains which were designed by Front and Tosani in Verona, Italy. Finally, the roof tiles are made of exposed concrete (FFC Concrete) which is produced in Germany.
