For me the top 5 livability criteria would be: Safety|Job Opportunities|Housing|Environment/Climate|Infrastructure/Recreational Opportunities I currently live in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh India. Main reasons i live here presently:City of Residence Married into Vijayawada (family lives here) Pursuing Master in Urban & Regional Planning from the SCHOOL OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE, Vijayawada. *Safety *Housing(Affordable housing, though not in the city centre) *Environment (No much polluted. Surrounded by hills and a river close by) As stated above it fulfills 3 of the 5 criteria hence between 60-70 score is good. Major drawback is the lack of job opportunities, recreational opportunities and no literary activities at all. Help change people's mindset towards change. Increase adaptability towards change , improve micro-climate of areas(extremely hot region) 8 months of sun and improve recreational activity trends. I would like to move to either Bangalore, Hyderabad or Mysore. Bangalore tops the list sice it is where i was born and bought up hence gives me general feeling of comfort, security and well being living there. All three have good climate, have affordable housing and are safe. Both Bangalore and Hyderabad has good job opportunities, infrastructure and recreational opportunities. Mysore is rich in culture and has good environment aspects too.
