Hello, This image is taken in borivali, India. Around 80-85% of India's construction is made in RCC (reinforced cement concrete) frame structure leading to globalization of economy. India turned from net exporter to net importer of steel during the 2018/19 fiscal year as local demand increased and imports jumped from Japan, Korea and China. The waterproofing materials required for construction is also imported from Unites states of America. Sodium Gluconate used as an admixture in concrete is imported from China as well. Hence leading to globalization of construction. Alternative and long-lasting materials as well as construction method needs to used in order to reduce the import rate and to reduce the carbon footprints of the construction.
