FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"
Uploaded on 2020-04-20 by Azam Bakarman
The visible information that are shown in this image include the cars, roads, buildings, trees, street lights, brownfield, street ramps, and garbage bins. On the other hand, there are invisible information that we can not see by our eyes. Two of those information include the the greenhouse gas emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) produced by the cars, and the amount of oxygen the existing trees can produce. The greenhouse gas emissions the cars produce is a significant cause of global warming which is considered an environmental problem worldwide. Therefore, urban planners should work efficiently on making plans, on the federal, provincial, and municipal levels, for reducing the use of cars and promoting bicycling and walking more and more in order to make cities more livable and sustainable.
