as one can observe in this picture, Riyadh is a city in a deserted area " middle of the desert ". Riyadh got influenced by the globalisation and development of other country capitals. as a result one can observe in riyadh different architectural themes. such as : 1) Modern Skyscraper , 2) Concrete Blocks Building, 3) Empty deserted lands. however riyadh has its own traditional architectural theme which is the beige-ish color with a hence of ancient/modern style buildings ( what i mean is, Riyadh buildings are all using modern technological construction methods and modern materials, but the facade of buildings adapting the ancient archaeological theme). all of these variation in architectural themes are the influence of globalisation and cultural norms.
