This is a drinkingwater pipe that was put in the ground, but bought from a local supplier that has imported the pipes from another country. This is something I often see in several construction prjects, athough, local suppliers are also still supplying local or national products. However, in bigger cities and in bigger projects I tend to see more imported materials than local ones. Previously local materials were used more previusly, like local timber, but with big companies providing cheap materials companies or municipalities are often imposed, by law, to by the materials from the cheapest place. Several housing projects are also importing whole houses from eastern european companies instead of building new ones.
