Where are the dominant fossil fuels mainly used for in your country? transport, others and losses. It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. How would you do that? If we look at the diagrams it is obvious that the major energy source for residential use in Lebanon is Oil product import. This energy source can be partially replaced with renewable sources like hydropower, solar and wind energy. As Lebanon is sunny most of the times and have lot of rivers in rural areas . solar energy can be much more considering. And instead of using imported oil for cars and transportation, it’s recommended to replace with Hybrid cars that can use renewable energy.
