2. Main UHI effects that I identified in my area are : 1) More number of vehicles. 2) More number of buildings. 3) Less number of trees. 4) More number of industries. 3. The measures that I would provide to reduce UHI effects are : 1) Restricting private transportation and instead encouraging for public transportation. 2) planting more number of tress. 3) Shifting the industries to outer part of the city. 4. Yes, there are policies to reduce UHI effects.They are as follows: 1) Preventing deforestration. 2) Encouragement for public transportation.
