1. Which are your top livability criteria? Well, from my point of view when you don’t have something or when something is scares in your area your need stars to grow, that thing will be created as an important factor in your mind. For me job opportunity is the most essential thing which contribute to a livable city. Unfortunately in my country Iran there is no enough career for juvenile or even professional worker. By having a suitable occupation your future will be guaranteed and you feel good about yourself, you feel satisfied. The next criteria from my point of view is housing. I can definitely say the majority of young people can even thing about having a house or even a shelter in the near future in my vicinity. It has been said that a house is like a small society, if you feel good about your house, you feel good about yourself; paying rent should not be a big concern among people, if does the livability will be decreased. The third factor is international connectivity; our country has been experiencing a though embargo in these 10 years so I feel this factor to my bone. We cant even shop online throughout the world. Being in touch with other people all around the world is important. Next factor will be recreation possibility, again because of the shortage of this factor I definitely say it is essential. After a hard work you should make yourself free, in this way you will have adequate energy for your next day. Your progress is better and again you feel good about yourself. If you don’t have enough places to rest and entertain your efficiency will drop. The last but not the least is transportation. Fortunately proximity to underground system is plausible in our area but taxi and buses are always crowded and they are not working exactly in their schedule. Efficient public transportation not only help you to save enough time but also it helps the environment to be more healthy. I am a kind of guy who is really interested in public transportation system. If I had an adequate option, I would never use my own car. 2-I live in Tehran, the capital city of Iran, to be more specific Fatemi neighborhood. This city is the most predominant city in my country, so the FIRST reason that I like to live there is the accessibility to anything that I want; all the important institute and organization is in Tehran, you know, we don’t have states, we only have a capital. SECOND reason is specifically related to my vicinity. The “walk score” of my vicinity is so high. You know this score is highly related to accessibility to major and important stores that are crucial to any people such as supermarket, bakery, recreational areas and… so my area is very convenient. THIRD reason is about public transportation, given that Fatemi vicinity is located in center of Tehran the proximity to any means of public transportation is plausible. FOURTH factor is related to my emotions. I have been living in this vicinity for approximately 20 years. All the other neighborhood seem irritating to me. I have got used to it, that’s it. The LAST factor is my family. All of my nuclear and extended family are living there, I mean near to me so I really prefer to be near them. 3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? I would say 65 for my neighborhood and 25 for my city. 4. What would you change? If I was the mayor of my vicinity I would really decrease the traffic by increasing the public transportation. I would construct many sport complex for young consumers and I would definitely invite numerous experts and even usual people to make decision for their area because now lots of high ranked dignitaries are totally illiterate. 5. Why do we move? To be honest I want to move from my country. And I have decided: first one is Netherlands, second one is Switzerland, third one is the USA, fourth one is Denmark and the last one is Australia. The quality of life index in these 5 countries is high. Environment is clean, freedom about the personal life is great, public transport is fabulous, job opportunity and housing are not a big concern for people and at the end you have the exact 8 hours to be by yourself and have a fun.
