1. The provision services that Union City (UC) contains is the reservoir, as it maintains precipitation throughout the year. 2. UC consists of several trees that have reduced the UHI effect and improved stormwater management due to the soil from the trees absorbing rainwater and tree leafs holding water droplets that eventually evaporates. Fortunately, UC is on a hill, where flooding is not a problem. However, due to the abundance of trees, green spaces and reservoir collecting rainwater, the city does not contribute to surface runoff, as much as it used to. 3. Cultural events take place in parks and closed streets concerning the city’s wide range of Latinx and other minority groups. Also, the parks have recreational days during the warm seasons. Many schools, mainly Union City High School, open their doors for educational and informative workshops and events regarding immigration, special needs, and other supporting topics. Additionally, places like the reservoir have been designed for citizens to explore containing benches and a running track. 4. UC has recycled in public schools for many years and has educated the city to separate recyclable materials. Also, every two blocks occupy a trash bin that has decrease littering.
