Your course is divided into high and medium courses. Before pouring into the Atlantic Ocean it passes through downtown Recife. It was in its floodplain that the first sugar cane mills were formed, due to its massape soil, suitable for cultivation. For the future, what can be improved, is the idea of ​​river navigability, exploiting its potential as urban transport.
