Question 1: 1. Safety 2. Political Stability 3. Transportation 4. Job Opportunities 5. Infrastructure Question 2: I like to be able to list five reasons why I live in Baton Rouge, but there is only one reason. I am not eighteen years old yet, and I cannot leave here to go live somewhere else. Question 3: On a scale of 1-100 my place of residence is a 60 in fulfilling my ideal livability criteria, while the city of Baton Rouge as a whole fulfills about a 40. Question 4: If I was the mayor of Baton Rouge I would change the school system to be more like the top performing countries such as Finland’s. Question 5: There are three places I would like to move: New Orleans, Louisiana; Louisville, Kentucky; and New York City, New York. Some reasons I would like to move to Louisville are as follows. Until recently I lived there and all of my family lives there, and Louisville is a place I could consider familiar. In the inner East End of Louisville there is a belt of magnificent parks designed by the man who designed Central Park, Frederick Olmstead, while towards the center of town there is a booming downtown surrounded by cheap walkable neighborhoods. Louisville is also a town filled with beautiful old architecture the city is committed to preserving. I also would like to move to New Orleans, Louisiana. New Orleans is filled with history, and it has lots of unique architecture. New Orleans also has lots of good restaurants, and it hosts many different events. If I moved there I could ride my bike or take public transportation instead of driving. Another city I would like to live in is New York City. One of my reasons I want to live is because it is the culture and financial capital of the United States. It is very dense and there is no need to ever have a car. If I moved to New York I could live in a place where I barely have to walk a block to get most things I need, and because it is the largest city in the United States there is always something interesting going on.
