Five most livable cities in India: 1. Pune, Maharashtra 2. Indore, MP 3. Mysore, Karnataka 4. Bangalore, Kartantaka 5. New Delhi Five criteria for a livable city: 1. Temperature/Weather 2. Crowd/Density 3. Infrastructure facility (Water, Sanitation, Waste management, transportation) 4. Cost of living 5. Pollution levels (Air, Noise and water) My city: Jamshepdur, Jharkhand, India It is an industrial town in the state of Jharkhand. it is famous for TATA group of companies and about more than 100 industries present. Despite having so many industries, the city is fee from pollution (noise and air) and it s well planned so it is less crowded and is also well maintained when it comes to infrastructure facilities. The only problem is that there is lack of good governance in the city because the city is run by the private sector and they do not have the authoritative power. So a good governance and management is required to even include the hinterland int eh planning process and have a wholesome development of the entire region around the city.
