The dominant fossil fuel used is oil products, however much of it is exported out as derivatives. In terms of electricity production, gas is more dominant. The dominant industry using fossil fuels is our chemical and petrochemical industry, but the highest user of electricity is our commercial building sector (see photo). Three things I would do to improve our energy system. Increase adoption of renewable energy sources, improve energy efficiency of buildings and look for ways to recycle energy.
