The picture shows Katipunan Ave. - the place where three stocks and flows will be identified and described for this MOOC exercise. As a bustling university community, students, establishments, and buildings as stocks and flows will be discussed. Students comes to the community to pursue their studies and most will eventually leave when they graduate. Some students reside within while others commute to the community. During holiday breaks reduction of student stocks is very apparent. The number of establishments that cater to students are considerably dependent on the number of students. Over the past few years, there seem to have an increase of establishments around Katipunan Avenue. Buildings on the other hand are dependent on the establishments that will move into these structures. Just like establishments, there is also an increase on the number of buildings around the area. The photo shows a residential building under construction to further supply the demand of living spaces within the community.
