Question 5. The three places I would want to move are: Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Paris (France), Washington D.C. (USA) I have been and lived in all these places. For Riyadh the most important criteria for my choice are: 1. Job opportunities. 2. Economy of the country. 3. Environment. 4. Housing. 5. Culture. I fell in love with it during my work there and miss it a lot. For Paris: 1. Education opportunities. I loved the attitude to the educational process, to the students and to knowledge. It’s really inspiring. 2. Job opportunities. However, the competition is also very high. For foreign specialists it is also a language barrier that may be crucial. 3. Economy of the country. 4. Culture! Croissants, Tour d’Eiffel, Champs Elysees… 5. International connectivity. Paris is a melting pot where all the best ideas of the world can meet. For Washington: 1. Job opportunities. 2. Economy of the country 3. Political stability. And freedom. 4. Safety 5. Culture. All of them include some of my top-5 livability criteria – mainly job opportunities and economy. However, they also include their unique features such as political stability, culture, housing or international connectivity that I didn’t choose at the beginning.
