Citizen Design Science Project: case of Vologda In Vologda, a new for Russia experience of participatory design was applied, concerning the reorganization of the city embankment. Consideration of many points of view of citizens allowed to increase the level of use of the coastal space of the inhabitants of the adjacent territories. As a result, the new concept of the project can become a more effective initial version, which was planned exclusively with "top to bottom" approach.
