The picture shows the main library of the University of Bonn. This is a classic stock of information and wisdom for the inhabitant and students of the various universities in this area. The Students moving in and out of the city to start their studies or leave after graduation are a flow. Another flow would be the daily food market at the central market place. There you can find fruits, meat and vegetables coming in from the farms around the city but also from warmer countries far away. An improvement for the library would be, if more books were available in digital formats to prevent non availability because someone borrowed it for home use. Improvement for the marketplace would be, if only local goods were sold to prevent the transport over large distances and so causing carbon emissions.
