1. My top livability criteria are: Political stability/safety Environment Housing Job opportunity Infrastructure 2. The reasons I live in Nairobi, Kenya are: Environment – Nairobi is very green city which has parks in the city. International connectivity – Nairobi is the diplomatic city of Africa where there is good internet connection in addition to people from different part of the city. Infrastructure – better infrastructure than most African cities Accessibility of Goods – the city offers range of choices 24 hour services – sport fields, hospitals, restaurants, supermarkets and malls are usually open even at night which really adds to the choices the city offers me. 3. 55% of my ideal livability scale. 75% in general scale 4. If I were mayor of Nairobi, the first thing I would have done is to secure the safety of the city. As it is really common for terrorist attack, theft and gang robbery to happen, I would work on making the city where residents would go out without fear of not returning back home. 5.
