the city today is embodiment of local form, ecosystem, infrastructure along with people, culture and aspirations. Mussoorie has transformed into a city for all the tourists flowing into it. the infrastructure and services have transformed over time to represent the aspirations. so we say more and more hotels, restaurants, commercial spaces. however the overall form corresponds to the terrain and natural environment. the roads ate narrow, houses are small, vertically growing with sloping roofs.
