the five most liveable cities in my opinion are: 1. Toronto 2. Zurich 3. Amsterdam 4. Vienna 5. London the five most important factors that determine liveability are: 1. Safety, Security and fair & Responsive judicial system 2. affordable and good quality education and healthcare 3. open social spaces, good climatic condition and eco-friendly environment 4. good job opportunity and economically strong and growing 5. art, culture and openness in society my current city is Mussoorie, a hill town in northern India. in terms of liveability it is a big step up from my earlier cities, however long way to go still. I have found safety and security to be not much of a concern, somehow I am able to get very good social spaces and interaction. the environment and weather is very good. you can have a good healthy life, long walks, unpolluted air, beautiful views, natural surroundings. in terms of healthcare and education a lot more can be done. however some serious problems here are stagnant economy, solely dependent on tourism; fast Deteriorating environment; heavy traffic; lack of proper housing, sanitation, waste collection and treatment, water supply and infrastructure city is also vulnerable to earthquake hazards.
