Compulsory Exercise 5: Question: We want you to sketch the routes and provide a table with information for all possible modes of transportation from your home, to work, university, or any other place you regularly go to.You need to indicate which mode of transportation you usually take and how you judge each alternative with regards to a series of factors (e.g. travel time, walking distance, traffic, social aspects, environment etc), obviously also including happiness. Answer: My mobility in Guwahati City: I live in the Guahati University Campus quarter, located in Jalukbari, Guwahati with my brother. My workspace is situated at Kahikuchi (near Airport) almost 13 Km from my home. There are two routes to reach my work place; (Route 1.:) Through the National Highway, (Route 2.:) Through Assam Engineering College Campus that also connects to the National highway. I usually prefer the Route 1, as more transport options are available available on this route. I have to walk to the Jalukbari Bus stop from my home which takes almost 6 to 7 minutes.
