It is a centre – a shopping complex. At that moment, it was cloudy. The centre is close to bush. The road has been converted into an outdoor dawdle spot. In the background, there is development happening. On the roofs of the buildings there are air-conditioning units. There are games on the grass. The development in the background shows that there is growth in this region and that prospects for expansion are attached to this. It is impossible to tell what sort of building it might be, but it still shows that the area is expanding rather than receding. The converted road-dawdle spot space is intended for socialising, engaging in activities, playing games or sitting. This indicates that the centre is trying to become or already is a hangout spot/recreational shopping centre. It is supposedly a place to enjoy oneself with friends and shop. This gives us insight into the people-environment relationship. With this knowledge, it is possible to better make decisions that are going to effect this or be effected by it. From this you can better decide what shop types are better suited to this centre. For example, a fashion store maybe more successful than a hardware store.
