Also, put some lights to make places bright. To public spaces: make them more attractive / multipurpose so more people pass by and stay or even do some activities Then, the walkability and livability are necessary to make the places or streets from dead to alive, especially in the valuable and meaningful areas. Make sure the development is neat and concise, and reject sprawl. The outer loop of the neighborhood can be an option put some special spots in the remote site of neighborhood. On the information side, we can get the data of utilities and usage of different streets and places. and track people how they stay, stock, flow and interact among one another. About public participation, we can provide channel for residents who have something to say or have relevant experiences can report what they concern about and what are needed to be fixed.
