In Shenzhen, manifestation: 1. “cement forests” have fast heat absorption and the heat capacity has been shrunk. 2. the high-density of population & high-speed process of urbanization 3. plenty of emission of exhaust gas. Moreover, it has been discovered that from 1986 to 2005, the UHI of Shenzhen kept on increasing in area and intensity; however, the pace was slow down between 1997 and 2005, which may be caused by the increasing attention on it from government and public; also, UHI mainly distributed alongside the main avenues. 3. Raise the ratio of the green spaces and plantation with an average scattering pattern; strengthen the advantage and priority of public transport; stress recyclable energy use 4. Carbon trading (Shenzhen started its work since 2012). The trade occurs between industry, construction industry, and transportation. Therefore, the government has also transplanted most of the factories and industrial constructions from city center to the suburban areas.
