1. Various age buildings, shown by different era aesthetics; Bus stop; On-street parking; 20 MPH speed limit; Pot holes and cracking around drains and in middle of road – not highly managed road; Standing water on side of road; Long straight road; Central city location 2. - 1) On-street parking used to psychologically reduce vehicle speed along road. - 2) Lack of much population in this section of the city. 3. The on-street parking is a central aspect of this road. There is an reliance on this parking as a technique in reducing vehicle speed along straight stretch of road. Due to the parkings location being central to the city, while being in a reasonably unpopulated section of the city, this parking is likely to be used consistently during peak hours when population of the streets is also at its peak; thus maximising safety benefits while also providing a necessity (central city parking).
