In my answer I am going to be referring to Moscow, where the most significant stocks and flows are: capital, people(traffic and transportation) and density. Moscow is the capital of the city so capital flow plays a significant role within the city architecture and urban/terrestrial planning. Capital is constantly being converted into other substantial things and greater liquidity is going to flow into the Russian debt markets as the Russian currency will become more convertible, meaning it will be able to circulate more. Secondly, the flow of people plays a distinct role in Moscow as traffic flow is a constant problem, which results in congestion and overcrowding. We can therefore synthesize people with the city density as it is the architectural density in certain areas, which often results in congestion and causes pollution flows. In order to solve the future problems the densities in certain areas should be decreased, a flow of concrete created, which will resolve overcrowding, people flows. Network flow models can be generated to help with the urban design and planning.
